The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted as a Basis the Bill "On Amendments to Article 18 of the Code on Administrative Legal Proceedings of Ukraine" (re Jurisdiction of Administrative Cases to the Local General Courts as Administrative Courts)

The Bill (Reg. No.1455) alters jurisdiction of administrative courts of first instance in order to secure more accessible jurisdiction.

Inter alia, the Bill amends Article 18 of the Code on Administrative Legal Proceedings of Ukraine. The said amendments extend the jurisdiction of the local general courts as administrative courts onto all disputes concerning appeal against resolutions, activity or non-activity of public authorities as regards allocation of pensions, social aids to the disabled, payments due to compulsory State social insurance, rendering of social services.
